  1. Flower festival
Flower festival takes place in a little town Zheludok, Belarus. It begins in the middle of August. Flower festival is the most colourful one. People mark this occasion to remind everyone about the beauty of plants. Here you can enjoy a fantastic smell and a spectacular view of flower’s sculptures and compositions. Many contests are available: you can compete for the best exotic costume, for the brightest composition and for the prettiest flower hat. Also you can visit some famous place of Zheludok (park of stones, flower’s manors) and buy medicinal herbs.

    1. It's obvious that we don't really know much about our country and its traditions. I have heard of the flower festival in the Netherlands, but I have never heard of the flower festival in Zhelunok. Thank you, Kate, for telling us about it.

  2. Cherry Festival.
Every year in spring, the city of Glubokoye is buried in white cherry blossoms, and in summer it pleases residents with a plentiful harvest of red and juicy berries.
Today, beautiful trees bearing cherries can be seen in every courtyard of the city and region. This is due to the fact that in the 20-30s of the XIX century, the breeder Boleslav Lapyr developed his own winter-hardy varieties of cherries - a hybrid of cherries and cherries with sweet, juicy and large fruits.
Many tourists come to Glubokoe every year. For guests, contests, sports games, music concerts are held.
Everyone comes to enjoy the most delicious cherries.
